Claypot 'Lou Shu Fen' (Serdang)

Famous Lou Shu Fen & Garlic Lala

Restaurant Yoke Heng is famous with its claypot lou shu fen. It is quite special as it is light color one and the gravy is so sweet and nice with minced meats, dried shrimp, mushroom, spring onion. I'll definitely recommend you to try on this dish. There are some HK artist taken with the shop owner display in the shop. Besides, we order one plate of garlic lala which is fried with garlic, chilly padi and dried shrimp. The lala size is not big but very fresh. The taste is good.

Thai Food...Yummy

Thai Fried Rice & Pineapple Fried Rice

Last weekend we ate at SS2 food courts. There is a stalls named Thailand Food. We ordered 2 plate of fried rice, pineapple fried rice and thai fried rice. The appearance looks delicious and yummy. The stalls business are good. More or less the same. The only different is the pineapple fried rice is cooked with pineapple and long beans and the normal thai fried is with vege and tomato. It comes with a bowl of tom yam soup...'very spicy'.

Basically, there are 2 types of CCF in ipoh. One is with the mushroon sauces one and the other one with curry chicken one. This CCF is very smooth, soak in mushroom gravy with minced meats and plenty of slices mushroom. Very nice and worth to eat. Each plate costs about RM4.50. It can be found in morning market SS2, PJ. Delicious Cempedak Butter Cake & Durian Biscuits

Simply Delicious Cempedak Cake & Durian Biscuits

You can find delicious cempedak butter cake and  durian biscuits from restaurant Hong Tho, Ipoh. I like butter cake very much but the one with cempedak flesh is first time try. Full of butter and eggs. It is yellow, moist and mostly delicious. Richest with cempedak flesh. As for the durian biscuits, they have strong durian smells and you really can eat the durian flesh inside the biscuits. Really good. You sure will like it if you love to eat durian.

Mouthwatering Egg Tarts (Nam Heong Ipoh)

Egg Tarts

Egg tart is my favourite food. I like to eat very much. Among the one I eat, the best of cause is the NAM HEONG, IPOH one. A coffee shop which is famous for its original white coffee and egg tarts. It's so good to eat egg tarts with a cup of old town white coffee :) Their egg tarts are fresh from the oven. They are baked daily on the spot. The egg custard (filling) is smooth and yummy. The pastry skin is crispy. One box packing consists of 6 pcs of egg tarts. Really tasty!!

Nice Mixed Rice @ Baba SS2 Food Court

Nice Mixed Rice

At SS2 foodcourt, there are variety of food you can choose from. Now I'd like to introduce the mixed rice 'chap fan' or economic rice at one of the stalls 'Baba'. More stalls available during dinner time compar to day time. But the mixed rice can bit a bit expensive depends on what dishes you choose. When we have dinner there last sunday..it costs us about RM15.50 for 2 plate of mixed rice. One is with sambal prawn, thai tofu and belacan potato leaves. The other plate is served with mutton and potato leaves. We had our late dinner around 8pm something and no need to queu up for long wait. Like normal dinner time, you really need for quieng up for food. Overall, the dishes are alright, something different. Price is a bit expensive than the normal one. Morever, we order the 'lai chi kang' and sea coconut from other drink stalls.

Location : Medan selera SS2, PJ.

It's Durian Time Again...

Delicious Kampung Durian

Are you a durian fancy or lover? Durian season falls in every july to sept yearly. As we all know, it is the king of the fruits. I believe that people who eat durian for sure will concern aqbout the brand itself like 'mao san wang', D24, Ang Hei (Red Prawn), D2, Kampung durian and so on. For me, I'd prefer D24 and durian kampung. They are rich in aroma and the flesh is thick 'kao kao' in yellow colors. Other reason is mainly because they are naturally grown without any chemical. Those flesh are average sweet and bitter one are nice to eat!! If you really like to eat durian, maybe you can go to 'All You Can Eat'' Durian buffet at SS2 or cheras...Don't miss it out!

Famous Favourites Wan Tan Mee

Eggs Noodles Wan Tan Mee

Frankly speak, I like to eat wan tan mee very much!! Maybe because when my I was young, my dad always bring me out eat this kinda noodles makes me like to eat it...:) I prefer those handmade eggs noodles in a specially made dark sauces and serve with BBQ char siew pork and a bowl of wan tan in soups. The noodles complete with some 'choy sum' and some pickled green chillies. This is so called dry version. Another type is the soup version. Other than char siew, you can choose either roasted pork or roasted duck. A good plate of wan tan mee mainly is the textures of the eggs noodles and the sauces flavour itself.

The noodles from this restaurant is OK. Not the best wan tan mee in town. Can have a try. The noodles taste good and the char siew is  chunky, tender and juicy.
